My Background
Hello, I’m Shannon McGregor. Welcome to my profile!
Picture training that ignites, not instructs. For 10+ years, I've been architecting and delivering potent learning programs that directly power organizational triumphs. As a Trainer and LMS Administrator, I empower businesses to unlock their people's potential by crafting bespoke learning journeys, mastering diverse delivery methods, and fine-tuning LMS ecosystems for effortless engagement and impact. My achievements include a 40%+ surge in program participation and a robust 91.9% client retention rate through strategic learning initiatives.
My driving force? A deep-seated belief in the transformative power of understanding and growth. Being consistently recognized as a "Highly Effective Level 5 Instructor" underscores my commitment to delivering impactful training and adopting a positive, solution-oriented approach.
Beyond the professional landscape, my life in sunny Florida is anchored by the rhythmic pull of the beach. When I'm not deciphering learning challenges, you might find me in my workshop, where the scent of sawdust and the satisfaction of creation bring a different kind of clarity. My loyal dog is my constant companion, a furry reminder to embrace the present moment. The adventures of my college-aged kids bring unique joy, and my passion for mental health advocacy underscores my conviction in the importance of holistic well-being. My current literary exploration of "The Power of Now," following insightful journeys with Brené Brown, reflects my continuous pursuit of growth and understanding. Even my often-comical attempts at gardening testify to the power of persistent learning, even through failure.

Instructor Led Training
This was created for my very first interview as a trainer or instructional designer. The assignment was to create a 10 minute training for what I believed to be the most important skill for a trainer to possess.

I had not attended any kind of courses or had any formal instruction in how to create learning experiences for adult. I just knew that I had some really great transferable skills from my time in education. With that said I did not create a formal storyboard and no script for this training.
I simply had lots of confidence and I knew my topic REALLY well!
Camtasia Video Editing
I wanted to learn more about video editing and I dove into learning a specific program I had heard about. Why not use a video of my sweet pup that I already had! And who doesn't love an adorable squirrel loving pup!
